Contrast is one word, could be defined as difference. Contrast is a difference in colors and brightness. In this case, contrast is applied in the difference in the color of the sun & sky. This brings out the effect of the sun and it brings out its reflection on the waters, and the shore and I think it looks effective in my poster.
